4 Corners held a funmatch, several playdays, and Instinct Test. They tested many different breeds of herding dogs from corgis to schnauzers!  4 Corners also hosted a Point and Time trial that proved to be a lot of fun.
Then in October 4 Corners held a AKC Sanctioned "A" Match and had a great turnout. The trial filled and the club passed !
Later in December the club received noticed from AKC that we are now a full fledged Herding Club!
4 Corners brought public awareness about out herding club to some of the performance events by awarding sportbags to the HIT herding bred dogs in  two different obedience trials.
We were also mentioned in an article in Tulsa Pets.

The members of 4 Corners were presented with many awards during the lunch break at the AKC Herding Judges Seminar on Jan 12th 2008.

We awarded FIVE dogs with plaques for earning AKC Herding Champions this year!  That is a huge accomplishment!

There were over 20 dogs and handlers that earned Herding Titles throughout 2007 and those folks were given plaques with engraved plates showing the Title earned. Each year 4Corners will award new plates to be added to those plaques!  
In appreciation of the many hard working members of 4 Corners we also awarded gifts to several members of the club.
Sally Thomas hand crafted a huge steppping stone that was presented to the Astons for all the time and effort they have given the club, the stone had their LLC year and a photo of their BC "Angus"
Sally also painted a gorgeous picture of Linda Holloway's dog "Rocket" on a river rock which was given to Linda for her dedication to 4 Corners.
Aylo received a 4Chat Journal for keeping up with PR opportunities, Sally a portfolio bag to hold event forms, ect,  Suzy a fun mug for "Best Stock Handler"  Joyce a apron for Herding Chef and Mike a clock to keep us all in line and on schedule! and a manual for Herding Dummies 101 . Mindy received a great book about Herding Training!!
