Trial Dog Of The Year

Rules for Trial Dog of the Year

This award is to be presented at the end of 2009 for the 4 Corners Herding Association of Tulsa Trial Dog of the Year !

4 Corners members only are eligible for this award.

It is given to encourage trialing throughout the USA.

The winner will be determined by the following guidelines.

Limited to 10 trials per year.

1) Submission of placement to the 4 Corners secretary by Dec 15th.

2) Only AKC Herding Events will be considered.

3) Points will be allocated on a standardized format regardless of number of participants etc.

6 Points = 1st place

5 Points = 2nd place

4 Points = 3rd place

3 Points = 4th place

2 Points = 5th place

HIT (High in Trial) will receive and extra 6 points

RHIT (Reserve High in Trial) will receive and extra 5 point

4) Dogs eligible for the award may be either owner or trainer handled.
